Had a shot in one yesterday definetly quicker than the 1.2 but harder to tell since my car is so low and the exhaust but I can feel it in the gears also rear brakes are a bonus

The only things I can think of that wont fit over would be coilovers and induction kit ?? Apart from that bodyparts would be fine ??

Thanks for all the advice. Iam very tempted and I personally think its a good idea. It also means I can have a project car with less miles and hopefully not loose any money then in a year hopefully upgrade to a 2litre sport

Your right but insurance for the sport is much more than the 1.6 and if I can break even or make a profit it seems a good idea. Also miles on my car are starting to rack up.

Looking at the 1.6 there is a 55 plate with warrant for £4800 so could probaly could it for £4500 and it had just under 30k miles on it

What are peoples opinions on going from a 1.2 to a 1.6 ?? I’m thinking of upgrading to a 1.6 possibly taking all the parts from my current Clio onto a 1.6 is this possible….. Is the bodywork the same ?? Coilovers – Different for a 1.6 ?? Differences from the 1.2 compared to the 1.6 ...
