Polycarbonate door panels fitted, few more fixings required once the rivnut tool comes back from a mate.
wiring just dropped through the door cards for now until another mate can mould in a decent mount for the switches, but they will do for now :)
a few other bits achieved but forgot to...
I whizzed the discs off the car last night Mark, found the Pagid code and going to pick up a new set later and have them redrilled.
they will do the job short term as replacements but I'm certainly going to look into the 'bell and rotor' options once I know the rest of the car is conquered...
Gaz, was that done by Thomas for you? (Sticky's mate)
ive just asked him to do some for me for the new plate on the Trophy.
whos garage is that, I spy a green Escos in the banner over the door?
would that be where Ian Gerrard had his arches done on the Cossie focus?
Oli, I've had 2 front wheel drive cars in the past running ATB's, and 2 x 4wd Cossies running both diffs as ATB's in the past and I've always felt comfortable with the way they are with my driving style.
It also helps that we have a gearbox and transmission specialist about a mile from our unit...
They are indeed.
i nipped back down to the unit, whizzed a disc off and gave it a good seeing to with the wire brush until the engrave details were all clear.
the code matches perfectly with the pagid code as quoted by Fred (thanks buddy)
the unit next door to us MTS (ford people) pulled out...
Bobby, that's me, lol.
i know exactly what parts i want, but its just trying to justify them all at once and in what order.
i think one of the next bigger purchases will be a Quaife Diff :)
Cheers buddy.
the 2118's are 7x15 and et43, i am however running a slim 5mm H&R spacer just to fill the arches that bit better.
attached the back end of the car today with the angle grinder, cut off all seat mounting points and hooks, along with any bracket that wasn't flush.
tomorrow to grind...
Cheers Fred.
to be honest, I was holding off calling them as I can't imagine they will be overly impressed if I intend on buying discs elsewhere.
the kit is probably nearing on towards a year and a half old now.
Withoutabix, at present I have the OMP subframes, when I have a little more time ill have proper rails welded in so i can get the seat a little lower aswell.
just need the time to spend on it working out where exactly to put them to et it right for my seating position.
Jam use AP discs on the 'bell and rotor' setup.
if I had more time I would have a set of bells and rotors made up to save a little weight, but with its next outing only a week away I was hoping to replace the discs almost like for like just for now, my own error as I'd forgotten the discs were...
Alignment being out can make the car feel horrid and a task to drive, instead of it being a pleasure.
as long as everything he has done is all tight and where it should be, the only thing that could be causing it should be your alignment.
get the new tyres on and then get it setup properly ASAP...
Did they not check the alignment?
with the bits you have changed it's possible that the tracking is all over the place, but possibly not worth setting it until the new tyres are on.
Ha ha, cheers, but doesn't fully help.
do you know what discs atall, so I can atleast start to match it.
it would be nice to know what options i can use as replacements.
cheers
Would anyone happen to know what discs Jamsport use for the Wilwood 4 pot kit?
with my brake setup requiring a new set of discs for this kit, and knowing the discs they have used in the past are 5 stud items drilled to suit, I just wondered if anyone knew what discs they were that they use...
Behind as always with the updates, a few pictures to catch up on.
car has been in this week to a friends to have the cage feet fabricated and welded into place, followed by a rear strut brace welded in between the turrets to also double up as a harness bar.
followed by the new BTM system being...
59 plate.
lux 1 with the black half leather lux 2 seats.
condition is immaculate.

FSH by Rob @ SCC
all of the factory items that have been removed for the 400bhp kit to be fitted have been kept in decent storage so every item can go with the car with...
Alex, one of the lads I share my unit with is also a detailer, the car is constantly being lavished with love when he has no work on, other than that mine sits under its dust sheet.
i used mine over the weekend for the first time in almost 2 months, hence me considering selling it.
i was going...
It would depend on your long term plan for the car.
if its to own it for a year, enjoy the best you can warrant and then still have a good return come the time to sell it on then I agree to looking at the Trophy options.
if you are going to start changing for budget coilovers and spoiling the...
Today, I have completed fitment of the BTM exhaust to the trophy, swapped the standard exhaust over to the misses 182 as the system was falling apart.
welded in the feet for the safety devices cage, fabricated and welded in a rear strut brace/harness bar, and then set the geometry :)
On the range, as an average on the misses 182, the fuel light normally comes on with 32miles left to go.
at about 29/30 miles to go the range calculator normally stops giving a reading.
Alex, what lux model, what plate and what mileage is yours buddy?
The FRS isn't that bad to run if you drive it calmly as a daily, I was surprised at what fuel return I got from mine, but on the other hand I am lucky that I don't need to use mine that often, in fact I don't think I've driven it...
