I personally believe its up to who ever wants to tune their cars. For most people its a hobby, and if thats what they wana spend their money on then fair play to them, its what they like to do afterall, even if they do only get a couple of extra horses for their months pay cheque.

Car has started idling badly today(which its done before) and it was a faulty HT Lead... same symptoms today so im going to buy a whole new set... anybody know a good place to order them off the internet as most garages have closed at lunchtime on a saturday? Hope someone can help!

Ive been told most of those hand car wash places do it, but i was luck the garage i took my car too had another car cleaning garage right next to it.... best bet is to ask your local garage its quite a popular service so im sure they will know where to go!

oh cleaning the car yourself is a must i agree, but engines are a bit of a bugger to clean! if you get it steam cleaned then touch it up yourself then its happy days! haha

This is exactly the case in my ph1 172, i get 120 out of 4th at red line(7,000rpm), not had enough road yet to push it to red line in 5th.... Nurburgring trip this summer should be interesting, although i dont like the idea of holding it that high up the rev range for that long.... we shall see

ok why would it be quicker then? ive seen them side by side and the ph1 looks a smaller car with less bulky body panels, so im guessing its lighter? does anyone know the weight differences or where i could view them? cnt see much else makin a difference as the gear boxes and engines are the...

i own a 172 ph1 Renault Sport Clio, and i was wondering if with it being the oldest one whether it was slower? ive heard rumours going round that its actually one of the quickest? Any info? cheers
