If your going down the bodies route i'd suggest getting one company to do it. Whilst i'm sure Kevin could fit cams and map the car fine...I'm not sure how willing he'd be to fit TB's.
GDI, YS, BTM, JAMSPORT etc should be able to sort you out.
J, It's my preference...May not be better. Rich prefers EGP and he's a hell of a lot better at detailing that me. So again i go back to my comment about "use what works for you"
I've got the Autosmart truck comign round to my work this lunchtime...Strangely exciting! lol
Soapy water will absolutely be enough. For your rims ensure there well sealed and you'll never need more than soapy water.
Or...If you really must. 10:1 APC or born to be mild.
Nice shots! Wee bit over exposed in a couple but crackin first effort. Take lots on diff settings. Key is to remember what you changed for next time. Although no 2 days are the same!
I think you've made a bloody good job for 3days! I've had mine over a yr and there no better...if anything there worse. You get away with it alot as the yellow is bright! The darker colour'd focus suffers a bit.
Were you using a timer, also what iso, F & Shutter speed were you using?
Not easy...Unless you know what your doing and have the right tools. Plenty of people can set up cams if you give them the figures.
15bhp with decent mapping sounds about right.
Cost all in...Say 300 for map, fitting....250-300.
Nice result. You on DW? May want to join cliosport and advertise your business, alot of scottish members, clio's and afar.
Detailing days have been planned and discussed with interest. Had one at mine a yr or so ago. :)
^I'm aware of that fella! ;) But on racing blue, which is rather like cream/white its very difficult to see marring on even a bad paint! That shows up like sore thumb! Hope you lectured him on maintainance. Or a plan.
Nice correction! :)
BGW? I've seen some without the wing. Look gammon. IIRC they remove the spoiler and gearknob before posting the car over in the boat ;) "Licked 1st class stamp on the bonnet.
