Well with modified cars I tend to have a rule - when being sold, take what you have spent, and half it, so id say at very least (with the quality of workmanship, and high specification of parts) £10,000 has gone into it, so if it was me I would be asking £5,500 - and it is worth every single...
It would make the front end stiffer, but remember the stiffer you make something, the more stress is inserted onto other parts, ie worn wishbones bushes, track rod ends etc
Definately would not have had ph2 rear lights in as standard, you have to swap more than just the casings around - not a difficult job, but Renault had and still have an abundance of Ph1 rear lights - 100% they would have been retrofitted.
Not taking anything away from the car mind, it looks...
Like I said to you a MILLION times, you know my opinion, one of, if not THE best car on the forum, <3 it
You are fully welcome to put it in my lock up for a while, I have a nice cheap Ph2 172 you can buy, then you come get it when you are in a better position :D
Yup lol.
Rears are also pointless, as most bolt to the inner rear wings, which such thin metal that in an accident it could rip out easily - some people tie their harnesses to them! Scary
Im probably being thick, but all the OMP ones I can find bolt to the struts not the top mounts mate? Could you find me an example and il have a look :)
EDIT: just saw your post above lol
How mate? The standard top mounts are rubber, no way of attaching to them, unless OMP do a solid top mount kit? Im not sure if they do or not - do you have a link I can see?
No improvement at all unless you have the Pure motorsport top mount and strut brace kit.
Normal strut braces bolt to the strut towers by 2 puny little bolts - as the suspension moves inside the turrets on the standard rubber top mounts under pressure anyway it does didly squat.
The PM kit is...
It can give the impression it makes a difference, as due to the butterly being larger, for every percentage the throttle is opened, the larger butterly will let in more air compared to the standard sized one - in reality it makes it snappier as it is letting in more air, but due to the throttle...
And iv just bought another Ph1 :o
Planning on getting the metal this coming week to make up the plates for the cage, then get it in the car over the next week or two :)
cheers mate :D
Gotta keep little man in shape ;)
Yup, tis a shame it happened mate - it could have been a simple mistake, but whatever the reason, it ended in :(
Oh, and RE my Clio addiction, iv just bought another :o thats Renaultsport number 8 or 9 :o
Cheers mate, front section will be...
