    should be able to pick up carpet from any decent audio shop i.e. not halfrauds, and MDF you should get from homebase etc

    is the amp powerful enough for the sub? If it is it could be a dodgey earth connection, get some paint scratched away somewhere and get it screwed in somewhere, seatbelt buckle etc.
