Never tried the RC5+'s but tbh i'm more than happy with the RC6's, prefer more break power than getting maybe an extra couple of thousands miles out of them/dust/squeeling.
The CL's are awesome end of! Excellent from cold, would go to say there probably better than most warmed up aftermarket pads! I heard people talk about 5 sets of disks to a set of pads, i'm on my second set of disks and they have loads of life left. I've done 5 trackdays and a fair bit of 'fast...
Of course pads are the way to do to better stopping power, I run Carbone Lorraines RC6's and the stopping power of them is phenominal! Paired with Braided brake lines and decent dot4 fluid means I get no fade even when on track!
After having Brembo HC's and max's i'll be saving my money and going for some HC's again, lasted longer and felt like they braked better! Plus the squeeling I got from my pads wasn't as bad.
This!
As much as I agree with Englebert, i'm not too fussed about spending over a £1000 pounds on a set of wheels so that companies research and development for new designs of wheels. Function over fashion and all that...
People keep on fitting these wrong, they look stupid like that! They dont look too bad when fitted like this....
You make the hole on the mount of the strap bigger and get a bolt with the same thread/size as the original toweye and bolt it straight to the toweye point. Then it sits...
Really? If your so interested in the kit that you need to post a million times about hearing one, make the journey to closest person that has one. You sound like a broken record!
Got 2 choices really with the Cup if your happy with it.
1 - Spend 6k on suspension/tuition/trackdays/power mods like the JMS manifold (changes how the power is delivered which will give that different feel when driving!)
2 - Get a 1-2k diesel car, 1k trailor/towbar and spend the rest of it...
Get a pipercross road or race filter from JMS to fit into your standard ph1 airbox, the ph1 airbox or V6 espace airboxes i'd say are the best induction kits for a relitively standard car unless your going properly live map the car.
Other good cheaping things to get would be matched inlets...
After using both tyres i'd be going for RS-2's if there not too much more expensive. I had the V12 Evo in 205/45/16 for my turinis, good tyre but definately not as good gripwise in the dry in comparison to the RS-2's. In the wet the V12's were pretty good, but saying that the RS-2's were just as...
Leave it for 15mins or so every morning before I go to work and 10 mins when I get in from work, had the car 2 years and hasn't died yet. Still makes decent power also...
Famous last words... lol
Tbh if your having it rubbing in the arches you have it far too low in teh first place or have poor suspension, 2118's do not have to be that low though to make them look good however. But guess thats a matter of opinion...
2118's really arent that heavy! Having heard about 'heavy' they were when I went to collect a set myself I was surprised at how light they were as people on here seem to think there 10 tonne blocks!
And refering to having to be stupid low to make them look good and then that affecting the...
Re: help plss how can i stop the big jumping wen it spins in first i keep breakin exh
Lol bless you...
The bits you want are solid engine/gearbox mounts and a powerflex dogbone mount. Maybe if you posted 'proper' English people might give you the time of day...
Re: help plss how can i stop the big jumping wen it spins in first i keep breakin exh
VVT kicks in at like 1600rpm so your doing something special to get wheelspin then. The jumping will do no good for your gearbox either, i'd say if you keep breaking the exhaust i'd hazard a guess that the...
The setup on my Cup is...
FK konigsport coilovers set to firm rear/medium front
Whiteline rear ARB set on hard
3 degrees of camber on the front/going to run 1 degree camber shims in the rear to make 2 degrees-20 minutes
25mm Hubcentric spacers on the front/13mm hubcentric on the rears
Toyo...
