I tend not to wash in the sun for obvious reasons but wet the panels with QD as you dry. Alternatively, try one of the resin filters that I was talking about earlier, they do work.

I bought the AquaGleam resin filter as was curious. It makes the car easier to dry if nothing at all. My Evo has a good layer of protection so it's not really an issue and the water sheets off well enough, but I left my black Focus out to bake and there was very minimal water spotting, so it...

brakes bedding in nicely, starting to work 'proper' so hopefully will feel a lot more confident when pressing on. Really happy with how the car is now from 12 months ago but still things I want to do.

Yeah drying machine makes sense. I don't tend to get water spots anyway, it's just the drying process is by far the most tedious.

Yeah the car has Vantage and some coats of BriteMax Remax, water comes off very easily. Anything that improves the process is welcome by me, though.

Vantage lasted on my car a whole year. But then I only drove it for 5 months of that and hardly ever, so... lol :D Tis why I'd never bother with ceramics personally

Just under 6k and 3/4 worn with some spirited driving. No track work, would be looking at far less lol

Had these on the Evo and cannot fault them. Need to work them a little bit to get the most out of them like most decent compounds but no issues here with 400bhp. Might have to grab another set before it's too late.

Looks lovely, although the fact it's coated in black underseal will be off-putting to some potential buyers. Car has a solid history and I doubt it's hiding any big problems

Yeah, not dishing out snobbery. My current daily is a mk2 focus and my weekend car is an Evo which has the cabin quality of a viking ship.

What would help is if it was region locked. As it's the Chinese tossers getting bored of playing against other hackers, so they join European servers. It's utterly pathetic
