if theyre eibach then most likely 35mm-40mm. iirc theyre the most common springs they do for the clio, however springs NEVER lower what they do on the box so tbh, you might as well stop caring exactly how much it is lowered by!! OR you could just measure the height from the arch to the floor...

1 valves not seating properly due to carbon build up 2 headgasket (noticable) 3 piston rings. surely it can only really be one of the above?!

Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio! tbh, i dont think there are really many bit that you can do on the F4R engine!! the block, inlet, box, subframe, shafts, rack etc ill simply paint, and my alternator brackets are already powder coated!! cant wait to see the engine in the flesh!! looks really...

as if people are paying £70 for wheels that bend?? you can get OMP wheels for that!! or if youre feeling cheap, get an RMD wheel, ive used one of those and they do the job just as well as omp, suedes slightly low quality but they dont bend!! lol

new interior loom, clocks and indicator stalk!! could fix it yourself for under £100. however it wont be the easiest job in the world!! the entire dash would have to come out!! sucks to hear that this kind of thing happens tbh, the fuses should stop anything getting to dangerous points!!

got some good parts on it, but no where near enough to justify such a price tag!! plus i cant really see what the rear boot springs are trying to achieve!

personally id say, Ph1 clio 172 - £700 Brembo HC/Braided lines/DS2500/good fluid - £250 (ish) Pollybush dogbone mount - £50 strip it out - Free youll have a fun track toy for about £1000.

doesnt the oil vent diectly into the inlet manifold from that little plate on the top of the rocker cover??

Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio! tbh, the only fair one to compair them too is ians old bus, since lee's and kel's both have cloth its not really a fair comparason!

down and out on nice wheels, pretty much the only thing worth doing on a non-sport imo!! everything else i think renault did a good job on, maybe some OEM+ bits here and there and some colour coding.
