It was to promote the start of the flat racing season at Goodwood, either that or to promote some equine kinky website. ;) Tim told me thast he'd pay good money to be led around by a jocley.
Few of us went along for this meeting this morning. The theme was Sporting four seaters so good chance we would get in. Somehow Fletch's ghetto fix was deemed as special enough to get on the track and the rest of us were relegated to the paddock. :S
Anyhow here's a few of my pics...
True they can be thirsty but I didn't buy it for the economy and on a long run (unless it's following a pair of 172s ;)) it's well over the 30mpg mark. It's just not meant as a city car. I'll just have to use the missus' car for more of my short journeys.
Great meet and really nice talking to loads of people. Whose idea was it to move back to the Burger van and leave the nice warm pub. Just got feeling back into my toes.
Getting there with it Tim. Just got a couple of more issues with the dealer to sort out and to speak to someone at renault Support about my Recaro wear problem. Apart from that still loving it and still not wanting to mod it.
If we are near the stands we can always send somebody to the top of the main stand and can get a decent shot from up there, although not directly overhead. Anyone know of a Hot air balloon we can use?
Coming home tonight saw a GW 197 with a private plate and the occupant enthusiastically waving at me. Was on the Fair Oak road between Fair Oak and Bishopstoke. Did wave but not as enthusiastically, sorry!
