Try owning a LY car and parking it in the centre of Belfast. All it takes is someone to dent it/scratch it and it cant be painted exactly to match. Unless it was perfect it would piss me off! Hence buying a red 197 that can be easily matched should the worst happen - plus it comes with a 3...

^^ agree totally - one of the major things that annoyed me about the LY was the fact that everyone is NI in the local "modified scene" referred to MY car as "Harrys old car" even when i changed to the 2118's i got it :( anyway - Hello Mr GTI :)

Read up a few threads and found that Quaife are producing a LSD for the 197. My question is regarding the LSD from a 225 megane! Can this be fitted to the gearbox of the 197? Thanks Ross

nip round to your friendly motor factors and get one :P or borrow one like i did from the owner of the car who also happens to work in a motor factors :P honestly is worth the expense - made debadging a 2 minute thing rather than a twenty minute struggle! thanks for all the comments guys.

After having the 197 delivery date moved to end of september needed to fill the clio shaped hole in my life. Friend collected this from England last week and wanted me to detail it as soon as he got home! How the car arrived - First thing to tackle was the arches. They were filthy...

wash - polish using something like super resin polish, then two coats of jetseal 109 and finish with a layer of wax such as collonite - job done and deep shine :)
