I've no idea on the G1 front as I've not tried Gtech stuff. Hydro is a spray sealant, dilute 30ml to 90ml water in a spray bottle. Wash the car as norm, when it's fully rinsed spray this onto the car, I do a few panels at a time then rinse. It's epic

Iron X, Tripple & Hydro2 is a must imo.

Z6 is a quick detailer with extremely good gloss enhancers, thus why I like to use it between applications. Z8 is a finishing off qd if you like, this is only a final wipe down, im not overly fussed on it tbh, I have 4 bottles of z6 & one z8 which Ive had about 2 years!

z6 is a superb product, adds so much imo

lol no probs Daniel. Im working 3 days a week at an Alfa Romeo garage as the valeter & getting to do a few details too so its all good. Using the rest of the time to fit our kitchen & get some detailing work going too. :)

Just get some G101 & spray all over the car, then when washing go over it with the mitt to agitate, its what I do to get rid of any protection, then clay etc :)
