FFS. That looks far easier than editing the handling.dat file in notepad!
I've just slammed absolutely everything. Tried looking into 3D modeling programs to add on over fenders, change the wheels etc, but its a bit beyond me and I've just not got the time to teach myself :( lol
I also added...
Kinda liked it all unpainted and messy. Brilliant work though; desperately want ridiculous static lows in my life. I want to be inconvenienced on a daily basis. It's just cool. Lol
Haha, yeah the chassis rails will have scraped away by this time next year. That's my aim - holes in the floorpan & being pissed off every time I drive it because it's too low
Ah, I see! :o
Update
Well, it's not a big one, but I've had a loooong day. Mainly because I've had to walk everywhere to get tools etc.
Firstly, I fitted the mirrors - had to file down a locating tab on the bottom of the base which was horrible! Mainly because they're brand new.
Before by...
New MOT rules mean your seat has to lock into three places unless its obviously a track/racing car iirc.
I'll get it done afterwards. Along with getting rid of that number plate. I think if I take it off once, it'll never go back on again, looking at the bolts LOL
It's all coming together really quite nicely! I've just received news that I may have access to a small amount of money, meaning the lows this thread needs so badly will be here soon.
Yippeee.
Update on this due tonight, anyway!
There's no way I'm going anywhere near the paint on them!
They're so smooth - forgotten what new paint feels like.
Going to get a rear calliper ordered, because I've decided the one on it is fucked. Seized straight back up, even with copious amounts of WD. It's also caked in 20 years worth of...

So glad I got new ones, they actually still adjust!

At least my eys will be rest in the Night time.
Ahh, I see! Mine were absolutely awful! It gave me genuine back pain.
Came with the car and I was skint at the time, so didn't get round to swapping them.
Yeah, I heard this... you get solid top mounts with the HSD's, so I'm assuming they're the same between NA & NB... will look it up to be...
My last MX5 had T.A.Technix coilovers (the same thing, just rebranded iirc). Very bouncy! And you can't go too low on the rear because the height adjustment collar eventually hits the drive shaft!
Oh, and before fitting them, I'd recommend removing most of the bumpstops on the rear... makes the...
This. For the money, HSD's are unbeatable. And after driving Sebs (admittedly with higher spec HSD's) I'm sold.
They will! They'll have to go on after MOT though, bald as frig!
FLOL, Get a turbo'd one... old school power delivery FTW!
FLOL.
It's all goodj arguing about how road cars are...
I work at the Airport... which is not ideal - 2 hours walking/on the bus!
I rent out a 1 bed 2nd floor apartment with a balcony & parking space in the N.V. buildings for £650 a month. Make of that what you will!
It's a lovely area though, really, really recommend it!
Already completely sorted...
What else could I choose?! The HSD's are fully adjustable for £500. Flipping bargain!
Here's an Artists impression ;) :

Thanks Chris :)
It's such a shame it's rotted so badly on the outside; the engine bay and interior are pristine! The suspension is typical 20-year-old rotten though. I imagine a thorough service would see it running and handling really nicely tbh!
All in good time...
HSD DT's... Either next month or the month after. Depends on how much I get paid at the end of the month! I've also found a shop that does 30-50mm spacers... LOL. It'll look amazing on those BBS's once I've done with it!
