I noticed it said 3.9 afterward!. I can tell you vaguely what that CPU will do but it depends on cooling lol. 4.3Ghz should be around 1.28v. (Set VCCIN (input) to 1.93v
lol Andy, do you know what's funny about that score? Obviously mine is a 6850K so at a disadvantage in Blender, but AMD showed a demo of Ryzen's 8c/16t varient scoring 36 seconds, claiming it was faster than 6900K fractionally (at stock).
Doesn't look that way from here
Pascal Titan X @ 1230Mhz
I run 2560x1080 currently. AcerZ35 @ 144Hz. The panel overclocks to 200 but rarely use it. Doesn't require much more than 1920x1080 in terms of grunt.
You should try out the thermal control tool.
By example; UEFI set 4.5Ghz @ 1.38v Adaptive. With the TCT set to throttle when the package temp exceeds the upper temp limit, the CPU throttles to 4.4Ghz at 1.34v
Makes good use of light workloads . You just need to hone in stability for both...
They're jostled with the angle of reliability. Couple that with the huge buffer available, which I'd imagine comes in handy if you work for ILM or something ridiculous like that lol. Most norms make do!
Although I'm highly disappointed it's not Bean Juice as my chum told me, this looks to be worth a punt.

Yeah lol. Most interesting thing for me at CES so far is HDR displays and the ASUS Apex MB. I would say Ryzen too but I already know it doesn't overclock worth a damn
33k! That's nuts lol. What mileage is yours on if you don't mind me asking?
And yeah, those guys are a mixed lot. I used to think Red Maks were cool before I signed up there lol.
I know people, that's about it! :tongueout:. Unfortunately getting hold of NVIDIA card samples isn't one of the perks lol
I've got a Z270 ASUS Apex board coming, though
