lol Andy, do you know what's funny about that score? Obviously mine is a 6850K so at a disadvantage in Blender, but AMD showed a demo of Ryzen's 8c/16t varient scoring 36 seconds, claiming it was faster than 6900K fractionally (at stock). Doesn't look that way from here

Pascal Titan X @ 1230Mhz I run 2560x1080 currently. AcerZ35 @ 144Hz. The panel overclocks to 200 but rarely use it. Doesn't require much more than 1920x1080 in terms of grunt.

You should try out the thermal control tool. By example; UEFI set 4.5Ghz @ 1.38v Adaptive. With the TCT set to throttle when the package temp exceeds the upper temp limit, the CPU throttles to 4.4Ghz at 1.34v Makes good use of light workloads :wink:. You just need to hone in stability for both...
