I'm doing alright. Havnt been able to modify my car because of my insurance (direct line). My next car, hopefully a 1*2, will definately have some tasteful mods.
Can't wait to get into modifying. Roll on next august.
Hmm not bad that mate, i don't do enough milage for that. Mines pretty dirty though, but the silver doesnt show it. When it gets worse i'll post my entry.
+1 the amount of cars i see on here that i want to buy, can afford to buy, is unbelieveable.
shame about insurance.
Also i'd consider that cup, i like my AC you see although i don't know why i hardly ever use it.
Are they louder than a yozza? I recon i could live with that. Although it would be annoying having a loud exhaust because in my car you can put your foot down without attracting attention, or gaining speed for that matter ;)
Bloody hell on a mk1 1.2. Take it your 17.
Mind you my mates paying £2000 tpft on a 1.4 8v 206 worth £1600 as a NAMED DRIVER. Jesus £2000 for fronting, rather not.
The bodywork is crap on clio's, they dent easily and the paints soft. I noticed this when looking for 1.2's last year, my dad said why is every clio nakered.
cliosports the best place to buy one imo. You know the history of the car via old posts etc and they're usually well looked after...
How come you like them so much mate, i've though about a 1.6 16v if i can't afford 1*2 insurance, then do mods to it that are transferable over to the 1*2 that will definately arrive the year after.
He was well out of order, the pug was well out of his way doing as she should have been off the racing line allowing faster drivers to pass. He caused what could have been a serious accident.
Cheque book ftw!
On a serious note, test drive the cars your considering i.e. what ever fast derv your thinking about and then a 197 and you will know instantly which ones for you.
I was thinking of buying a MK3 Dynamique S back in june, i test drove the dci 86 and a TCE. Instantly i knew...
Good point mate just that i know that out of town my car has to be worked hard to make progress, joining dual carraigeways/motorways etc
With the MK3 being a fair bit heavier it was just a bit of advice that a slightly bigger engine would make everyday progress a bit easier.
My 1.2 is...
Hmm i'd have a 197 over a fast diesel tbh. I think that any car enthusiast should have hot hatches while they're still young, theres time for diesels later in life imo of course.
Can't go wrong with a Fabia VRS if you do go derv though, remap well aswell.
My 1.2 averages 38mpg. Thats just driving around town and to and from work in heavy traffic.
Although its a buyers market at the minute, its a ball ache trying to sell your car in the 1st place to free up the cash to get another.
Dreading trying to sell my 1.2
