Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Agree with the top paragraph, but not the last bit.
They may as well release it, relish in the hype over it, leave people wanting more, and create flowing business etc over the following year.
Contract for the first time on an iPhone. Works out at literally the same price (£4 difference) for what I need. Better to keep your money in your pocket longer.
T - Mobile - £219 32GB Ninja Black Handset, £36 per month - 2000 minutes/Unlimited Messages and Data.
Went for T Mobile due to the...
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Same question, I think the capability and potential of EE with 4G lured me to Tmobile/Orange. Potentially 5 x quicker than 3G would be immense.
Especially for someone like me who lives in either Birmingham or Nottingham, very close to the...
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
I have had O2 contracts since the age of 10 when my parent's gave me my first phone, with 2 years in between on Orange. So ten years with O2 in total, now on T-Mobile, soon to be EE which will be T-Mobile and Orange combined if that's how...
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Prices were mentioned on their twitter.
O2 must have lost alot of customers from this. I know of atleast ten people who were on O2 and are now going with Orange/T Mobile or 3.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
I was thinking this.
They knew last year, within the first day that delivery times slipped by a few weeks. They also know they are going to sell them regardless, so why not just make double the amount.
Unless it's due to steadying supply...
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
I'd happily be without/use a cheap old one for a few weeks and have another £50 in my back pocket.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
It's not in the Tmobile deal's so I'd imagine Orange could be the same.
Edit - Not in the £36 a month deal, with unlimited data. It is in other deals.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Ordered mine anyway.
T Mobile - Black 32GB - £36 a month with 2000 minutes, unlimited messages and data.
Will most likely sell the handset in 12 months, and upgrade with a handset only.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
O2 prices are up, can't compete with T Mobile, same monthly cost and TMobile offers Unlimited data as opposed to O2's 1GB for the grand total of £10 handset price extra.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Same here, was tempted by the potential extra £30, and them saying that very minor damage would only be 10% anyway, which knocks it back to £270.
Mazuma are a very easy company to deal with!
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Mine hasn't a single mark, so took the risk of Oranges £300 offer valid for 14 days starting from Tuesday just gone. Worst case, they take 10% at most (Hopefully) and it goes down to £270.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Think I'm just going to go with T mobile and join the EE ranks in prep for 4G.
£220 phone + £36 per month gives you 2000 minutes and unlimited messages and data.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Yeah, you could also get a cheaper contract if you went with three which would narrow the difference even more.
I just don't think I want to be with three tbh.
I'm giving O2 until lunch time, if not I think I'll move to Tmobile.
