If its over heating and your loosing coolant then its got to be going somewhere . Like cliokiz says , signs of head gasket failure mate :(
If it was just overheating and no loss of coolant i would say it was an air lock , but tbh it does sound worse than that .
^^^^ like ya say , no good if the bonnet doesn't open up enough . Its probably too much of a ball ache fabricating brackets to bolt the struts to and that still allow the bonnet to close .
Well there no good to me so i might as well slap em on ebay mate .Better than puttin em in the bin eh ;)
I'll be surprised if you can get 2 keys for that price from Renault .
I don't really see any difference between a rear end shunt in a 182 or 172 or any other car for that matter . All thats protecting the exhaust on a 172 is a couple of millimetres of plastic so if you've got a ton of metal up your arse its gonna do the same amount of damaged as it would on the...
Glad i made the upgrade to the ff 182 with cup packs though from the ff 172 . It handles hell of alot better , better suspension and the exaltos stick like sh*t to the proverbial blanket :)
^^^^ Exaltos are hell of alot better than the toyos imo . Tons more grip in the wet which is more reassuring . I couldn't believe the difference when i bought the 182 over the grip of the toyos i had on my old 172 .
I had a mk2 172 from new for just over 4 years with 48k on the clock when i sold it in February this year . Bought a new 182 in Feb and to be honest the 172 was quicker , probably because of the mileage difference . The 182 only has 2700 miles on the clock so far , so is far from being loose ...
Used the CG trim gel on my tyres as well . Last week i tried the Silk Shine Sprayable Dressing on the tyres , tyres are still looking good . Tried it on the dash , not too shiny , just takes away the matt look .Another CG product i'm impressed with :)
Yeah topping it up will be fine . Use a funnel if you can and put some rags around the brake fluid reservoir because the exhaust manifold is below and if ya spill it it'll go all over the exhaust manifold and its flamable .
I've had the same on my old 172 and my 182 , on a sweeping right hand bend . Most likely that it is low level brake fluid . Check the brake fluid reservoir cap is on tight as they can come loose .
Any DOT 4 will do , castrol response is pretty good from Halfords , about £8.00 a litre . Could...
If its one of the small pots of paint use this guide .

I wouldn't bother with the primer or the lacquer . Just use the top coat , 2000 grit wet n dry then Megs scratch X . Worked ok for me .You don't need much pressure with the wet...
Same as Rich says about the AG bumper care with the CG new look trim gel . Buff it off after application and its ok . I'm in the sunny north west too ;)
If your going for an open filter i'd go for one of these .
