Ive got to valet a black VW taureg or whatever it is.
Its not a car thats been done before.
My origional plan was BlackHole and then Glasur. (Hes buying decent wash/drying gear).
However, I have a strong feeling I will need to clean the paintwork up. I dont really want to use my Blackfire...
AG interior Shampo from halfrauds is good for this. Dont need a wet vac. Just spray, scrub then wipe with a damp cloth.
People dont seem to like the smell of it but I do.
NO not really. Spreads a long way. I tend to do wheels with a few sprays and wipe it round with a brush. But i do about 2 applications with it per wheel.
Well itll be no different, and ive broken 4 G220's (Yes 4) so im not overly keen on them.
Das6 Pro has more bite if you want to spend the extra.
Rotary is ok its just easier to f**k things up. Ive said it before, its not burning through paint thats a problem, its taking the edges off paint...
f**k im gunna miss that vette thundering through the band stand this year. The noise is sensational.
Im not going.
Im regretting not going.
But I could do with keeping the 4-500 quid itll cost so I can get out of my clio next year and never have to drive a poverty person car again.
Oh and good detailing starts with good drying towels, mitt and shampoo. And a good wash technique. And then maintaining the towel and mitt.
Its like having a 1000hp skyline with clio brakes. Pointless.
OK.
OK.
OK.
Hold your horses.

Clay once, maybe twice a year. You dont need to clay before you polish wax. A polish will clean the paintwork and strip anything off anyways. A wax "seals" in the polish and protects the...
OK ive had a mate look at it whos a mechanic. First thing he said when he got in and heard/felt the vibrations was roll bar link.
I thought when I had the origional roll bar link replaced a month or 2 ago it was the driver side one. So obviously the passenger had gone and was making the noise...
Well, I applied 2 layers of the stuff, over 3 layers of EGP, over a layer f srp. Car has just been machined too. Took about 2 weeks of the car being sat there, I ran the battery down to ffs.
Lasted a year. The door shuts lasted 2 and then we sold it.
PMSL. What a dork.
I thought Glasur wasnt ment to be left to dry?
I always apply a pannel then remove it shortly after when i deem it ready. Beads for agers does that stuff, even after 1-2 washes it still beads really well.
Rekon I could apply some over a layer of Z carbon?
Back in the days...
Ok so lets say you were going to tidy up your wheels, remove all the iron filings etc...
What would you use to seal them up?
Pre Cleaner/Glaze?
Sealant?
Trialing Blackfire Gloss Polish and 1000p right now, as in I applied it today as I had the wheel off.
Ive still got some Nanolex Pro left...
I have a knocking coming from my left front wheel arch area. It sounds mechanical. It seems to knock at low speeds, even on flat surfaces, when I go round a roundabout, faster than normal, and weight is on my left hand side of the car, it doesnt seem to do it....
Ive had all my ball joints...
Well, basically, its one of my "work related" units. We have 1 tutor for the networking units and another 2 for the other 2. This isnt really a networking unit as such, unfortunately the tutor doesnt know what the f**k shes on about. Which is pretty frustrating when she cant answer questions...
Sorry, its a Leeds met moderated degree but im doing it at my Local college (Hull)
The MS stuff was bullshit. Im going to attempt my first of 3 ccnp exams this summer. Im not looking forward to it.
Really want to get into virtualisation next. I think theres a CCIE in virtualisation, but ill...
