Closer to me or you? Pm me if you wana try strike something up/when you know abit more :)
that rb is amazing, they could've sold loads of ph1s in that colour!
I meant taking my engine and suspension and fitting it onto a ph1 and breaking the rest of the parts, ph1 front end would be an easy option though lol
There is a RB ph1 i think somewhere, or similar colour!
I see myself building my ph2 onto a ph1 with in the next year as I love ph1s that much ha, its just finding a decent one for not alot of cash. Oh and having some spare money lol
I lost £90 on mine in 8 months, but then I paid less than they are selling at currently so that's not that accurate. If we ever cross paths your more than welcome to drive my car with the spax on :)
If I was on a budget I'd simply get springs and a decent setup, but again another argument lol
Dave <3 but you did consider getting spax at one point too iirc. Reason i got spax and from memory had one of the first clios running them was i wanted coilovers and Danny was close by and offering a good price at the time. The second set came on the car.
As for the livelyhood bit its swings...
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
Tbh I'm far to trusting anyway, It doesn't bother me people driving the car aslong as it doesn't get wrecked ha.
in other news epic lacquer peel on my rear wheel, my painting skills have been compromised by the snow & grit lol
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
Because there's two garages owned by them, they don't do mots at the one I use so drive it to the other garage that does about 10minute drive. He has been talking about getting a track car so said thrash mine and see what you think of it. That is why ! They can also...
Spray some oil on the bump stops, should stop it
it's common knowledge that I like spax, had a set on both my clios, perfect for fast road/track IMO. Obviously not as good as the higher level stuff.
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
Getting a different cat fitted, going to cost £60 so not to bad! 519 offered to sort it but by the time I drive to his local mot place and that it wouldn't work out much different cost wise.
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
Failed the mot on emissions, reading .6 when it needs .2
would appear the little 106 cat has given up after a year of abuse so now it's the case of sourcing another adequate cat and making it fit between the 182 manifold and 172 exhaust.
Orher option is to take it...
