Re: My new car. TTQS
That's the pipe and O ring. Just need some oil and a filter. Might wait until the end of the month though. Ive been spending too much..
Oh and I didn't get their £30.00 sump sealant. WTF are they thinking?
Re: My new car. TTQS
3" Tip has arrived. Now I have to find the motivation to fit it..
Went for black to keep it OEM looking. I don't do bling colours.
Yeah I remember jardo when he was on here..lol!
Honestly that's no surprise. The standard valve is excellent. The only problem is when they'd been used for a 100k and someone maps the car. Still at £30 they're almost disposable.
Nice little spree that. I've recently spent a fair whack on the TT. Sadly most of it, as yours, is just preventative maintenance /general maintenance.
Just spoke to the garage mine is at and they changed my rear diff oil free of charge with my Haldex change. Bonus.
Whats next? ARB?

I wouldn't run anything but standard now tbh. Mine came on boost harder, faster and held for longer after changing it.
As you probably know, Bill...
Sorry..lol
I recently bought the updated "N" version of the oem Bosch dump valve. The spring in this is considerably stronger than my old standard Bosch version and my uprated Bailey.
My car was noticeably quicker and drives nicer after changing it.
"I had an e36 328i but that proved to be a bit of a boat and not particularly good when driven really hard."
Really? I love 328's and i'd have spent money on that..
Mine was like that but it was the old DV where it was tired. The spring is a new standard DV opposed to either my original standard and bailey recirc is massively stronger.
Ah I did that on my old Bora. Made no difference from what I could tell. The engine cover on the TT is staying so Im not going to worry about it I don't think.
Oooo good lad. I'll be keeping an eye on this for obvious reasons.
So what are you going to do to the PCV system? Something like this with a catch can?
