Re: My new car. TTQS
It'll be worth it though. Luckily I had a mate fit mine for cash but then he's been working with Audi for over 10 years so I trusted him to do it.
Re: My new car. TTQS
Luckily a few warehouses down from my work is a VAG specialist. http://www.danturnerauto.co.uk/
The guys spot on. One of the better and more knowledgeable mechanics out there. He also has a rapid S3 trackcar. :)
Re: My new car. TTQS
They certainly do. I need it to arrive. Hopefully today.
Also in a moment of madness I've ordered a Forge motorsport armrest. Audi didn't officially make one for the TT so these tend to sell for over £200.. Forge US had 2 left with none being remade. Made a cheeky offer...
Re: My new car. TTQS
Yep. Considerably more air flow and the fact they don't collapse = more power. :D Proven loads of times. Ive not heard one bad word about them.

Now just waiting for my 3" Badger 5 tip which should give it a few more horses.
Re: My new car. TTQS
To be honest though it'll be the same with all companies. They'll do it for £299 regardless. If you want the other bits done i.e. the Tensioning Damper and Double Poly V-belt (Power steering/Air Conditioning Belt) it's more. Im willing to bet your AMD price doesn't include...
Re: My new car. TTQS
Yeah I've heard its a good upgrade to do both front and rear.
As for the second part, you'd soon get fed up.
Do you know the part number for the pick up pipe? I need mine done.
Re: My new car. TTQS
Well the car is still here...just.
Clutch has started to slip time to time in 6th from low revs so this little lot has been purchased -
New clutch, DMF and release bearing. Cost me the best part of £450.00.
Also just ordered a Badger 5 3" Tip for good measure. Lots of...
