I watched it and its something to do with the length of the hook on the bonnet. They then showed some back street garage mechanic who had fabricated a longer hook which should keep the bonnet shut at all speeds. The part cost £55.00 to alter and £1.50 to make. Someone should report him to...
Hi,
There's a thread that's been posted before about this. I know what you mean as mine does the same occasionally. Found this helpful, although my staelers are not sympathetic about alarm issues.

Most sellers try to recover cost of packing materials, listing fees, final value fee and paypal fees by adding a little to the postage price. I would mormally look at adding at least £1.00 to what it costs me to post it. If you are concerned that it is too high ask for the weight of the package...
Really can't complain about mine, but then I had so much trouble with my old voyager that I appreciate a server that doesn't freeze my computer. Although I have not used anything wireless yet as the computer is connected via ethernet. I have option 3 as well for the phone calls and my home hub...
Posted pics of my son's Megane before, broke his heart that people didn't like the car bra, so it's been removed and is now gathering dust in the shed. He has finally settled on a set of rims, about his fifth choice as all the popular euro rims fouled on the brake calipers. So he settled on this...
My son's been trying to go the Euro route with his Megane but has found it a bu**er to put 15" rims on because of them fouling the calipers. This is the end result with his last choice of rims.
Hi,
Drove past you this lunch time in the queue to get out of West Quay. Had Cliosport sticker in back window, twin upswept zorst and a carbon bonnett. Waved as went by on your inside.

This could almost pass for the chopper of the scooter world . It's my son's Honda Joker which he has rebuilt from a wreck to what you see before you.
:D
The Cleaning and polishing continues and have got this far. Also sprayed my engine cover. It looks more purple in the flesh than in the photo. Once I can regain the use of my blistered finger tips I'll finish the polishing. :D
Fair play mate, can appreciate just how much work went into it, and as you say it's not to everyone's taste, but after all you're building a car for yourself and not for anybody else. It's a shame that other people on this forum cannot respect you for doing something so different. After all we...
I've just put a K&N 57i on and have been impressed with the ease of fitting, how it looks, how it sounds and the change in pick up. Wasn't too sure if it would make any difference to overall speed or acceleration but it sure as hell sounds better getting there. I had a K&N on my 1.6 Megane and...
Hi saw a a blue 172 coming out of Botley at lunch time. I was in the Silver 182 and exchanged waves :approve: . On return home saw a Black 182 between Botley and Hedge End, although my wave was not returned.
Didn't realise how controversial a car bra could be. I suppose we all have different viewpoints on enhancing and looking after our cars. It's a practical thing to protect the paintwork.
DJW Dave; the bra was home made but I believe you can get one for a Clio by looking at this thread...
My son has been the proud owner of this car for six months and has done all the mods himself even painting. Because of this I had to buy a 182( It's not the size of your toys!!). He is trying to embrace the Euro look and is waiting for 8" x 15" wheels and decent weather to not ruin them.
