You might find the cheaper places cut corners... They will often leave a cm gap between the film and the edge of the glass "to prevent the film getting caught when the window comes down, and tearing" But.. a professional place will put on the film and put it right up to the edge of the glass...

I paid £205 for my OLD SHAPE clio to be tinted.. its a bit more for the new shape as its more difficult to tint the curved back window.. and if you go for the different films, there could be more ontop for that too.
