i went from the std 16"s on my mk2 172 to 17"s, big mistake, handling is awful, ride is awful, performance is also effected somewhat. Back on 16"s now.
kind of worrying though really for trophy owners, if they get a fooked shock/suspension part, have an accident that causes damage etc, they could be proper fooked trying to get it replaced??
my gf's got one and we use it as our work horse, my 172 sits tucked away in the garage 95% of the time. Its a nice little car, quite quick when pushed from the start, obviously not lightning but it does well, I find it usually returns on average 50mpg, (1.5 65bhp).
doesn't look anywhere near as good as the concept, quite 'normal' in fact, and with the pictures emerging of the lesser models, it looks like the 'sport' is even more so going to be even less distinguishable from the rest of the pack

you want to undo the Renault mount and strip it down and rebuild it with a Ford type support, otherwise it'll shake all over the place and sit miles away from the bumper. The Magnex system is far too heavy for the standard Renualt mount and pulls it to shreds.
