the probelm is the lack if ticket, on a car so old its worth a lot, you could buy it and find its in need of £xxxx amount of work, wleding etc, tell him youll give another £100 for him to MOT it, if it fails at least you know what on before you buy it

Hey, just playing with a few ideas, i know you can buy seperate oil pressure guages, etc but is it possible to buy a spedo one and a revs one? ideas for the mk1 :)
