Yeah just looked it's £20 per car if you're part of a club. £25 per person if not on the day. So if i go with a few mates thats a 1er between us. Madness.

Newer BMW's do get slated for there reliabilty. I think its just the case there's so many of them on the road.

I've just checked and i got my initial price wrong. Going back through it all again using "premium" parts and theyre current discount offer - Subtotal (Incl. Tax) £468.72 VAT Standard rate (20%) £58.59 Discount -£117.18 GRAND TOTAL (Inc Tax) £351.54

Great minds Dave. I just priced it all up on GSF. £280 using premium parts and new wear sensors. That was based on the reg of a 2009 335i sport.

If BMW are like Merc they tried to get my dad to change his pads/discs with about half their life left.

They do look nice mind..but i still prefer the rays.

A Turbo will not cost you £1200. £500 for a rebuild. EGR's can be cleaned as can DPF's. E90's dont have swirl flap issues. DMF and Clutch is the same with pretty much any modern car. RWD makes it easier too..;) You run a greater risk running something like a Meg R26 from doing my research...

Well a turbo is the only real problem on mine. Turbo's are easy to change. A head gasget on a M? Thats a little more work..lol

I got offered a swap for the E90 with a 02 M3. I'd love it but the running costs/potential bills scare me.
