    You can make your own uprated item with a piece of polyurethane bonded in place of the original rubber, I did that with my old 172... was fine for the 3yrs I owned it!

    £10 of petrol and a match? ;) Is it me, or has the engine really dropped on the gearbox side?!?! Get some VHT paint and go nuts... Silver and black :)

    You can remove the whole airbag loom if you trace every wire back... As far as I am aware that's the only way so you don't get the airbag light come up on your dash. You will be fine Neil, as you say nothing much engine related... Apart from the ignition / immobiliser part of the loom :)

    Pretty much... It can be traced back and completly removed, like I did with my loom/s :)

    What Tony said, they are cheapo hose clips, I've seen a few of them fail... perfectly tight, then dropping off! Get some decent jubilee clips on there Chris ;)

    Just remember to open the thermostat when you refill the coolant... Easy peasy :)
