Not much - probably £100?
Front bumper was about £75, 172 bumper bits were £15 and the repair mesh and zip ties (for filling) probably came to about a fiver!
It's just a pain in the arse really. Burning plastic stinks and is probably giving me some sort of deadly disease! lol.
Me too! If this doesn't work, I'm probably just going to give in and buy a sport bumper tbh!
I had no idea there'd be this much work involved when i started... lol! :o
Watching the first video, it's Very satisfying when they get it right!
Shame the 86 didn't make that 360 entry, like you said. Would have been awesome!
More progress made.
Today started like:
Ended like:
Not totally finished on that side yet, but it's certainly looking good. And it's VERY strong.
The only thing i'm worried about is that it might not fit too nicely, but we'll see!
More tomorrow...
What are the engines like in these? (Apart from being crap on fuel)
Anyone gone from a 1*2 to one? Are they really noticeably slower?
I've also heard JMS will modify their inlet manifold for the k4m... anyone know how much truth is in that?
Well, I've not taken anymore pictures as I was having a right mare with my camera, but everything is cut to shape etc. I think this might actually work! Lol.
Welding starts tomorrow!
Update Time:
Well, I got pretty much naff all done at the weekend due to working and being really tired; primered my bumper inserts and that's about it.
Today, though... that's a different story!
Firstly, added some colour to my inserts (kind of regretting colour-coding them now... looked...
Small heads up on the camber front - For the front you'll need Camber Bolts. K-tec charge £45 or so for them(!) They're the exact same size as the ones for a Suzuki Vitara oddly enough, and they can be had on ebay for about £20. Same manufacturer etc (Eibach), just much, much cheaper!
Since the beginning of the year. They've been superb tbh; perfect for a non-sport. You may need some small spacers for your front wheels - depends on the offset. Still a good deal though!
Buy a set of these!

You'll always be wanting more if you just buy springs - trust me, that's what I did! Lost a good £50 on brand new 60mm springs...
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Some expensive rubber there! Crikey
Are you going with over-fenders on this??
Yeahh, I know Oli! He's a good lad - shame he sold his Saxo like.
Cheers! Have you got any pics of your car up? I know there's a couple of PH1's in Driff...
