I reckon rally navigators must have done some serious wrong in a past life. Have to work their bits off prepping, to then take no glory, and all the while the driver largely ignores them and then barrel rolls them into the nearest hedge as a thank you.

So, some digging between some friends who know Clio’s well, admittedly they aren’t part of a rally team, but.... This seems to be the only product that may meet your needs. Not sure I’d go for it over a half cage, but you did ask for suggestions.... It won’t form the base of a cage though...

I may have missed it, but your Wiechers link shows no rear strut braces that attach to the chassis? I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m genuinely wondering how you can get a chassis mounted strut brace that isn’t already part of a welded in roll cage.

Not safe to run harnesses off a rear strut brace. Save your money. Rear strut braces don’t do anything performance wise. I added one for purely cosmetics to run under my old cage.

Yep. I used to get 4 with tyres in and around a full roll cage. I’ve got a cheap Clarke impact gun, bought from machine mart. Does the job ok.
