Quick wee bugger.
Although the exterior has been looked after the car isnt running nice. Had the oil light flash so suspect the oil pump is on its way out and then turbo is boosting far too much. Walk away and good luck to whoever owns it. I give it a month.
Ive just been offered this back for a cheeeap price.
Still looking good too. I was going to buy a off roader but may buy it back. I'm not sure why but i cant help but think i should.
165 for a standard 182? Maybe if they had 182bhp..
The DS3 has more torque per tonne though. Probably a much more usuable power band too on a day to day basis. Track excluded.
Not really? A 182 only makes around 10bhp more if you're lucky and they have less torque and the peak is much higher in the rev range. About 30 ft/lbs less. In terms of weight theyre's alot of diff figures banded about for the DS3 so unsure.

You've done well then. My mate had to deal with the garage direct and once the insurance stepped out and he'd been back and few times that's when he was told to f**k off. His word against theirs etc. Just being a fussy customer.
Im with Revels tbh. What would they give you if they wrote it off?
My experience with insurance companies and getting work done to a standard which you are happy is a nightmare. Especially if you know the car inside out. My mate had trouble with his golf which he did all the research he could...
Whats required to fit one in a non DAB equiped car? Do you have to run an extra aeriel etc or can they be bought with it all internal in the head unit?
