Would it not be easier to sling a GT front end onto a 200?? Front bumper, pair of wings and side skirts would be a little easier than engine, 'box & loom. LOL.

True enough, but you'd piss less people off.

IMO it would be a better bet to save for proper projector headlights. If you just sling a HID kit in your normal halogen headlights, they'll blind absolutely everyone and i doubt the police would take too kindly to them, considering the hassle you've already had with just sidelights!

From quotes i've got in the past, a dCi (65/80) is pretty much the same to insure as a 1.2 IIRC, the 100's are about the same as a 1.6 16v, so you should be fine! Shame to see it go, though it's understandable..
