An add on tool for PhotoShop called Topaz edit, or something. Put topaz HDR into Google :)
That's the one thing I definitely don't want!
100% not making a rep!
I know it would be easier, and cheaper, but meg!
Err, got 3 degrees k-tec camper bolts on maximum negative, and the slight adjustment on the coilovers. So about 3.5? Running 25mm spaces too, but the wheels have massive offset so they're still tucked really far in the arches...
With Side Skirts, is there any way to attach them without having to put holes down the side of the sill? That's the main thing putting me off tbh.
I'll have to see if I can find any bumpers going cheap then, in that case! Doesn't sound too bad...
Just been discussing this with Alex_C.
That sounds like a good idea tbh! I'd need to chop the dynamique bumper up too, as it pokes out, then, as you say, plastic weld the section of sport bumper on.
Considered fibreglassing ontop of the wing, where it joins to the bumper, but I don't think it...
Depends on how fast you want to get them done, i guess.
Probably about a week for a decent job - that's giving the lacquer a couple of days to set, too.
Here's a guide. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?243967-Colour-Coding-Guide-%28Preparation-Spraying%29
use like 120 grit wet and dry until they're smooth! Then work down to 240, then prime, flatten down, prime again etc..
Takes a long while, but it's definitely worth it!
Yeah, although it will be like this for a while, until i can fibreglass - which i aren't too happy about.
True on the second point, too! I really want to get into trackdays though - not ideal with 75 limp horses though, tbh
I was really unsure as to whether they'd even fit, let alone look...
No worries buddy! I totally understand what you're saying. It's not a perfect fit at the moment, what so ever. But it is definitely do-able, just need to practice using fibreglass, so i can shape them a little more and smooth where the RS kit would be.
I'll end up with something that nobody else...
I'm going to get practicing with fibreglass, and hopefully will be able to make it look much neater.
It did look okay, and I got it to a point where i was happy with it... but Insurance says no to a 1*2 for another year or so.. so why not - it's different!
172 widetrack should sort this...
Ermm... Why not? lol Don't want to go down the rep route. Drilling holes down the side of my car for side skirts does not appeal to me!
And it's different :)
Refurbing some currently! And hopefully going to run a 172 widetrack set up too, which should help!
Before reading on, please note that:
1) It's not finished
2) At this moment in time, I have absolutely No intention of fitting a full RS kit
3) It's going to get 1*2 widetracked next year.
Right, after much research, it seemed that nobody had really attempted to run RS arches with a standard...
