I'm not sure how I've managed this, but the fleet seems to have synchronised its "needy requirements". All three are due their MOT.
I know the Beemer needs a few bits and pieces, so that will be about £500, as I can't be asked to do the work myself quite frankly. As ever, the Beemer performed...
Quite a lot of folk (myself included) couldn't attend this year for various reasons (I've got a newborn).
But rest assured, next year myself and the flamer will be there, pounding around track.
These are both good vids;
As others have said, it is by far the best mod I have done to mine in respect to track work. It made a difference on standard power, and since supercharging the difference made has only increased. I have a gripper.
So, this weekend sees the first use of the famed roof box
Got back from work, and stuck it on. Took about 25 mins, which given its my first time wasn't too bad as I had to take out the fast click clips it came with and put in the T-track adaptors.
I think it looks pretty good, given...
Ha ha! I made a gameface, similar to mine. I don't have Kinect you see. Peasant gaming!
The only thing that worries me, is that you won't be able to do that here. I.e. personalise the story mode.....I suspect you'll be fixed as Alex Hunter.
I liked creating a pro, and playing loads of seasons...
I run 15mm at the front, 10mm at the rear. Hubcentric eibach with a stud and nut kit.
This is primarily to clear the 4 pot brembo's at the front. I haven't had any issues on track, but two of my studs sheered on the road. In honesty, that was my fault as I hadn't checked the torque following...
Yeah, when I started looking I wanted an estate 3. But, when this came up on offer from the next door neighbour I couldn't resist for the price. At least the roofbox is transferable across any cars I buy in the future, and for most of the time (especially when the little one gets a bit older...
Update time. It clocked over 120k last week.
About 3 weeks ago, it spat its dummy on the a34 and triggered the DSC, ABS, and DTC warning lights. Transpires it was a speed sensor, so an easy / cheap fix. I breathed a sigh of relief as for a few days it looked like it may have been the dreaded...
Sounds like my old cammed engine. I ran it for a bit, throwing oil in. Then It started to eat more. Then more.
After a Trackday at Bedford that saw it chew through quite a bit, and was down on power, I bit the bullet and swapped the engine before charging it.
I certainly can old bean. @Budgie and I should be getting together in a week or so for some dwarfism therapy. Poor little fella.
Thanks, he's doing great. 7 weeks today, can't believe how quick time has flown.
That's some commitment to read through the whole of this, appreciated. Hope it...
Been a while since I've updated this, largely because it's been 3 months since I've touched it. Been more than a little pre-occupied with Baby Cub, and rightly so.
Had a couple of hours today, sun was shining so I thought I'd reconnect the battery and give it a blast.
It fired up first time...
I know nothing about them. But I also like them and have had my eye on one as the next family bus.
I'd love an e500, but the head overrules the heart and a 320 cdi is likely...
