Yep, I just presumed being more similar lesser requirements would be necessary. I always remember gamecube dev kits where Rogue Squadron ran at 2fps. Nightmare
The speculation about games running on PC's at E3, Michael Wilford is the chief developer of the game Lococycle. It was their choice to use a PC as the game was incomplete, thus they weren't happy running it unstable on the Xbox One Dev kit. Fuss over nothing.
I'd have to agree, they're very different. You can trade games on Xbox One for a start, with Steam you only have the option to gift, so if you purchase this way, you cannot in any way shape or form play it yourself with your account. On the other hand though, Steam is free of subscription, and...
People tend to forget. Sony's MGS 4 was running on a PC originally. The Xbox 360 launch titles were being shown on a Power PC G5. Swings and roundabouts.
To be fair if I were them I'd be doing the same, why not play on it. Not Sony's fault MS doesn't know how to market what they've got. I agree though it is a fuss over nothing...
Not all bad, they're just repeating the speculation. It's not actually that big a deal that they used PC hardware. It's pretty common these days, although it is laughable using specs that are no where near XBox Ones. Also nobody has really confirmed what was running on said machine, and also...
The next CPU will be Ivybridge-E which will be socket LGA2011 still and compatible with all x79 boards. Still 6 core, and roughly 10% faster than Sandybridge-E. Due September 2012
Bioshock Infinite 1920x1200 Maximum settings - alternate shader rendering enabled (DX11)
Not really played much of Bioshock, should probably get around to it.
Also, this leaked last week. But take it with a pinch of salt as I don't believe it's been verified, if it is genuine it answers a lot of questions people have been asking.

It's funny you should say that, as when I was watching my brother play a portion of it I thought the same. Although he seemed to reckon it was some of the best A.I he'd ever seen. Granted it's cool that when you knock debris over they hear you, but generally when in combat they do some thick as...
Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC, XBOX ONE)
Witcher 3 is going to use Physx tech on both platforms (AFAIK)
Call me easily pleased but that looks the dogs dangles. I think this game is the true benchmark for next generation games. True open world & next generation graphics rolled into one...
Haswell-E leaked. Not due till next year, but finally getting 8 core Intel CPU and DDR4.

It does seem that Call of Duty has a much deeper (although not necessarily any good) plot element to it than the Battlefield games. BF3 campaign was pretty awesome to look at but did seem like an afterthought.
