6hrs! you having a bubble? takes less than that to get the motor out do 10 star jumps and put it bak in!
Thing is, i'm gonna do the cable and mounts...on the basis that i beleive there needed, and failing that i'll have a look at the ^ above mentioned.
I spend thousands on my 1st car, more than i did on the 172 lol! And yes i do regret it...But not at the time!...........your motor and all that! We can only advise you on the sensible route.
If you like the mk1, Decent willys can be had for 2.5-3k...ok ones for 2k. Insurance can't be that...
^ Sammy, defo not that! i'm almost sure it's a combination of the clutch cable and Mounts.
On my old 172 the cable needed replaced, but it didn't vibrate/judder...
I'm going to draw my own conclusion from this...
Other than the fact the clutch cable is stiff and notchy meaning it's hard to move off the car struggles to move away!
Engine mounts?
So used to the Vee that the 172 is just hard work to drive!
