Clio 182 with no mods. Trip Manchester to Portsmouth taking M6 non toll -> M42 -> M40 -> A34 -> M27. Trip computer were set at 70 and occasionally i had to come off. The result was 44.5 mpg after 245 miles
If you are using 280mm discs obviously you will need the 280mm brackets and you will need to machine 5mm from the caliper bracket mounting phase as you see from the pictures above.
Thanks guys. Sorted.
I took my car to Mike at Rentech here in Portsmouth. Excellent service. Pedal is back as normal. Brake fluid replaced and bleeding.
im really sorry. i haven't explain correctly. I haven't touch the lower nipples. i said 4 meaning the 2 top on each caliper.
could you please tell me if i have to do the bedding process now that i have the pedal travel or i need to do it when the pedal is normal?
i know is an old thread. but i need your advice.
after fitting the brembos i have a lot pedal travel. all 4 nipples were bleeded 4 times and no air bubbles coming out but still the pedal has a lot of travel. what i do wrong?
Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for your answer. i have the kit in my hand but im strangling to identify wheels. on my car at the moments i have trophy turinis. i was hoping to use a spacer around 10mm maximum but then noticed that the hubcentric spacers are coming minimum in 16mm
Small update. as i have access in a work shop here where i work i had the change today to make 4 spacers for the calipers. These spacers replacing the 5 mm that i had to machine out from the calipers. Picture with the spacers on the calipers will follow.
i did the milling today in one caliper at the moment for the 280mm disc fitment. I think everything went well.
Some masking to protect the caliper
The milling bed
Holding them down. i decided to hold the down like that and not across the pistons to eliminate any deformation / damage to...
