Remove exhaust manifold...
Put jack/wood underneath sump..
unbolt main engine mount...
Remove cambelt / engine mount bracket...
As for the cam cover undo all the bolts, but then the cams are attached to that (and this is where I run out of skill ;))
Cup set up FTMFW!!!!!!
New tensioner/adjusting bolt, new belt fitted in 15
minutes :D
I think the new water pump will take slightly
longer though..... :(
The bolt snapped on my tensioner, 172 cup alternator set-up fail!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Bongy sorting me out with the parts ASAP... the man is an absolute legend :D
I chopped ALOT of my standard loom down, its surprising how much of it you "don't need"
I removed 2 carrier bags full of wiring and excess plugs, taped all the loom up into 1 main piece and 3 small parts coming off..... fuse box, steering rack/dials, heater controls..
Makes it a lot tidier! ;)
