you can but your progress offline wont carry over to online play because last year people were hacking the save file to give themselves super pros so now online pros are stored on EA servers where in theory they wont be hacked (as quickly ! ) I want SWP for my silver UT but he is expensive...

first game of UT with my MLS noob stars and there was a clear difference between my 92 chemistry team and their 40 something team. the best part of the game was discovering i can still save these despite the other guy rage quitting :D

i think they tend to do a 'buy some shopping and get a cheap game' when famous games like fifa/cod are released but i dont actually know for certain

Fifa defending is a bit like an arcade racer... If you have a spin then you seem to catch the pack really quick but then the pace evens out. Same if an AI spins, they will magically catch up but not pass. This also happens with the players, I think it's supposed to simulate shoulder barging...
