I hope it comes true this car, really do...
At the moment it's still a running concept full of lush components to make it work... Hence the potential limited numbers and predicted high prices.
But imo they'd make far more money by cutting a few corners here and there and giving 90% of what it...
Looks nice. Someone at my work has a petrol V6 one. I always assumed it was a 3l like the clio V6 engine. Must be a detuned 350z engine then? Everyday is a school day!
I've been happy with my 197 cams (on group N timing iirc) and efi map. Drove mine for about a month before the map. Was okay apart from it'd stall at the lights quite a bit.
Cheap and the car goes noticeably better too:cool:.
I'm well cheers, yourself? Yeah still got the inferno although it's being repaired by the insurance company at the moment. Neighbours on the campsite we were on in France reversed into it:disappointed:.
Should have it back on Friday though so all good kind of.
I won't be making this one. I'll be in the process of moving house and I'm not sure I'll even have my Clio back from the insurance company by then also :(.
To a degree maybe, but every year I've been over for the last 8 years I only saw a handful of 1*2's, 225's etc where as now there are loads off the 200t's and new meg sports.
My friend who lives there pointed out that it's largely because of a shift back towards people buying petrol cars again...
These seem very popular in France now. In the 2 weeks I've just spent there I must have seen over 20 of them. Far more than I'd see in 2 weeks here with the 1*2s.
The meg 250/275s also seem popular there too now.
I've just ordered the strip for £40. Not sure where I'll put it yet but I'm sure I'll find somewhere to fit it into the collection when I move house in a month or 2...
I got an email saying the iris was on offer for £40 the other week. Should've got it:confused:.
any will be fine but there are different generations, 3rd being the latest so go for one of those for more future proofing.
I got this one for the car the other week.

Only just seen this, your link didn't work @Feirny for some reason.
Not sure it was me though as I don't really go through Dalton other than possibly on Wakefield road? @Louis'
Made the mistake of mounting mine in the waterproof case on my 2nd outing tonight which made the sound rubbish so the best I have so far is this which is on it's default settings. Will have more of a play over the weekend. Could also do with a car mount for the dash/window tbh.
Done a quick vid and seems to work well but I had the settings wrong so just charging it and will head out in a bit. Not going to bother with 4k ever though because I have nothing to play it on and it eats battery/memory...
Decent review of it here (before the 4k firmware upgrade) for anyone...
I went with the Eken H9 from Banggood.

Mine has just arrived in less than 2 weeks since I ordered☺️.
It has also come with a firmware update to allow 25fpm @ 4k and 30 @ 2k!
Seems to be decent quality for the money although will have to wait and see what the vids are like!
@bloke did you manage to sort that printout with the 197 cams?
Not aimed at you, but there doesn't seem to be many map printouts from others who've fitted them so far in this thread. :(
