I dont mind Paul taking over my thread!!! lol ;)
Yeah do the wheel silver again Dave.. Like silver wheels against a silver car.. Will get them all done at somepoint!
Aaah right. I knew that you had the Elise, just not on your 3rd Clio! lol...
Mine is an 04 plate and just reached 36k.... service and cambelt next :dapprove:
Told Ollie I want an Exige next!!!! (keep dreaming)
The car had a good clean ready for the winter this weekend, wheel's all off and scrubbed, callipers and hubs sprayed (thanks Ollie!) and a good polish after... Just given it a quick rinse over and took a few pics, not brill as on my camera phone and I was too cold!!!
Me being a stupid woman...
Same here, mine is just the right side of the wheel... But they still said its wear and tear :S
Thats what I think we should do.. But get the name of someone at Renault and send them to that person.
When I contacted Renault about this, they said its not a common problem and down to wear and tear. I think we need to send this list to them, or send individual letters (to one person at Renault if we can get a name!) then they will see this is a common problem.
Some dealers do offers, like a minimum of so much part exchange price. All you can do is ask them, then see if you could possibly get more from a private sale. Maybe check autotrader and see how much your car is roughly going for, so least you have a figure in mind..
Exactly the same as my 182..
Mine is lowered on Eibach proline springs.... Def improved the handling on mine.
You can buy the springs second hand, think I paid £80 for mine. Have a look in the for sale section on here.
I had the same problem with mine. Ollie got hold of some sealent (forgot the name of the stuff!), undone the bolts and resealed them and tightened them back up. Has been fine since.
