Normally find with the ballast when they're not used for awhile they never hold charge again. Yours sounds more like a gammy bulb though

They're not all that high, unless you are a bit of a bean pole ;). Not that it matters as I don't rate them, as above you have to pack out the inner side or they sit on the piss

120Hz for 2D does feel massively different. Not surprising seeing as it's double! Everything seems massively smoother :). I've the 23" ASUS, so maybe a bit small for you, but it's a great screen
