baisically my attention to detail is not as good as Matt's lol
and ill admit it, i didnt realise how his ecu plug went together correctly.
a new plug and a quick shuffle off a few pins about and its sorted :D
UPDATE
sunday morning @ circa 4:30 we traveled down the A1 destination TDF
9:27 we were followed by Icarus (Matt) onto the industrial estate.
the perfect timing seemed to end right there.
after a lot of head scratching, fighting getting on the rollers, desperate attempts to aqquire food...
Re: someph-ing different...........
if you take the uprated mounting off. the hole it sits in is the entry point to the bolt holding the ballast on.
why on earth renault decided bolting extra metal on was a good idea ill never know.
on some clio's i have spotted 3-4 lumps of solid steel...
Re: someph-ing different...........
ok thats fine, unfortunately where i live i have to drive through puddles for 80% of the year :(
and its all about the details.
below the top engine mount there is a lump of steel, that can be removed too :D
all extra weight and looks better with it gone
im running a valeo one,
sits below sausage filter
was in our stock of renault parts so we think its off something like an old 5 or something, i will get more info.
350mm high
Re: someph-ing different...........
there are brackets for the inlet manifold that are not needed anymore and also carbon canister bit can be tidied :D
but the work looks a1
being low is it now not a puddle scoop though???
because your car didnt come fitted with xenons, there will be a 12v in the wiring harness that is capable of connecting to your hids
im guessing it will be in the plug that the old ignitor was connected to.
a multimeter and turning on the dip beam would help you identify which one it is...
