if you go tools > options > somewhere in there there is a tick box like 'show formulas in cells instead of calculated results' i thought you was gonna have that one ticked... depends on version of office as to where youll find it exactly :s

windows defender is just a spyware scanner, it shouldnt block any network traffic (?!) and workgroups are for sharing files - shouldn't stop connecting to the internet usually.

how do you block hardware in group policy? :o
i know you could stop a file running or getting onto a share etc with permissions / gp etc but can GP just block the hardware device itself so as soon as you plug in it just shows up as disabled?
