if you have a spare £100, get one of those media player thingys from play (20gb) very cool screen if you want something cheap and nice for about £50, get one of those nano-knockoffs that run 1gb. They are lovely :D

Definitely get a HPI check, that will eliminate the nasty stuff but who is to say what the car is about once you get it home? He may just be genuine, only a small percentage of people are scammers, we call those people politicians ;)

I think i'll do that this weekend then. The onboard computer will start beeping at me at 12k miles, thats less than 3k away. That's the service interval isn't it? I assume they will change the oil again then.

If he's dropping the price to £700, then definitely get the RAC check done. It could be that he just wants rid. Most people when selling a car will price up the car based on haggling, and he may have just had enough of time wasters and tyre kickers. What may bother him about the RAC check is...

Yeah my clio is a DCI. Done just over 9K miles now in 7 months. I've noticed that it is DEFINITELY quicker now after its been run in. I mean, it'll never catch or beat a 172 or anything with a decent sized engines but I can give quite a few cars a run for their money especially on motorways :D...

Actually, arent those the same DCI's as the clio? If so, they get a bit more nippy once they are warmed up.
