If you arent that handy then the easiest might be chop the top off and put a 90degree bend in so it points right down

Cant be that much cheaper past a certain point, biggest bhp c20let i've heard of is 600+ but there are plenty of evos in the 1000+ bhp. I'd say this guy just doesn't know how to mod properly

iirc its only a fail on the outer cv's in which case its a matter of just replacing the cv boots on both sides. Not too expensive from renault or a motorfactors and just needs put back over the joint and clipped back up. Or if its only a small split you might be able to glue it from the inside...

Yeah stock ecu and temp sensor still connected. Presumable I could just wire into the relay that currently controls the fan?

I installed the ecu fred and im pretty sure the OE ecu is still running the fan. I have a second coolant sensor installed though.

Ah ok I might look at that ditz, wheres the fan relay or know what pin the output for the fan is? I'll do that aswell daniel, done a few searches but still don't know what row to go for. 13 for fast road and 16 for often trackdays, is that right?

Since fitting the ITB's the engine is running a fair bit hotter and im pretty sure the fan is playing up and not coming on at the correct temperature. Sitting in traffic for any more than 5 minutes my coolant temp guage will start to work its way up over the half way mark so im planning on...
