They will prob try and blame it on you Mikey rather than a fault with the engine.. Knowing what dealers are like with warrenty..

Have you spoken to Renault customer services, they helped me out when i had some problems with my dealer over warrenty work.

I booked mine in for its first mot 2 weeks before it was due and when the warrenty was to expire. They dated the mot certificate for the date it was actually due on..

Got to be silver for me :)
