i assume you are not the only wireless person there? only reason i ask is that if you were - someone could have setup a nearby network on same channel and sent yours mad? but if you have other wireless devices working then it's not that.

can you get on to the router with another pc and see a list of attached devices? it will usually give you a list of MAC addresses, to get the MAC address of your PC - start - run - type cmd - type "ipconfig /all"

do you really think that he changed his router IP if he can't fix a simple household router by himself? let's try and keep a simple problem simple here! I've never owned a home router that hasn't had the DNS ip the same as the router IP either lol

start -> run -> type cmd, press enter -> type ipconfig, press enter -> write down the 'default gateway' and keep it handy. get a paper clip and hard reset your router -> go to iexplorer and put in the default gateway -> try 'admin/password' to get in and see if you can set it up to work again...

if there are enough names down on cs we could probably get a sensible race going

I've done the x-games, the McRae event and a couple of world tours. I think it is quite easy on 'Serious' once I turned it up to the next one I could never win... only 2nd :( I seem to rock rally cross on live but suck at baja :D

u can get it really tight with the handbrake, see how close you can get to kissing the barriers with it ;)

i dont know if it's different on tele's or with consoles etc but when i used to play CoD on PC i could tell once it went below 100. anything in 3 figures all looks the same but you notice a bit of laggyness below that imo.

i like this game, it's really fun. the only thing that bugs me is the AI cars front wheels only seem to have 3 positions - straight, full lock left, full lock right. they just flick from any of those 3, they dont seem to turn the wheel gradually :( bit picky of me though

on racing games i dont like arcade styles so i just turn it up as hard as i can from the off. that is fun for me. i used to be really good at shooters (pc) when i was like 15, i got invited to lans and stuff but thought it was a bit geeky and never went haha. i dont even bother with PC games...
