Easily sorted I just opened out a standard gasket a little and fitted that , but gives an idea of how much the ports can be opened out.

Thats the spec I went with Kelv ,ported head, super tech valves, catcam springs,cams and jenveys. I actualy lost the o ring groove on my jenvey inlet once it had been matched to the head ports :cry:

The guy that did my head left the inlet slightly ruffer than the exhaust, to help keep a little turbulence to help the mix.

That is standard they are CNC finished at the factory, I thought the same when I first took mine off. This is a ported head

I think with the seals and a couple of screws from the inside you should bet a good seal on the front windows , I had to put serews in from both sides as my doors are a bit more flexy.

The one on the video is getting fitted to a phase 2 , is the kit you bought for a phase 1 ??

Nice one Frazer I just fitted a full set of blacks to the front end of mine.

Last time I weighed mine it came in at 957kg with half a tank of fuel, that was basic stripped interior with a 6 point cage and 2seats. Since then I have fitted a full set of polycarbonate windows, carbon bonnet,gutted tailgate and fiberglass doors so now hope to be around 900kg will weigh it...

Think most people use polo rads, or mk3 golf rads but I'm not sure on clearance with the golf one onthe power steering pipe and ault bracket. I'm bidding on a alloy golf one justnow so will hopefully find out soon on clearance, if there is a clearance problem I will switch to a saxo power...

Wayne I got a k-tech center section free with the sports cat i just bought you can have if you want to go with new back box if you want. Needs a little repair to one of the welds.

Depending how far you want to go with it a set of coilovers or cooksport springs to tighten it up a little for knockhill and a decent disk and pad set up for starters then get some track tires and give it a go. A polly dog bone mount will also help at knockhill for gear changes going into some...

Re: Road/Track 172 I'm running standard shafts and joint and never had any problems, think joints can become a problem if you go to low. Nope not on any vag sites , apart from my R8 I've never owned a vag.
