ViolentJ: I could do but it's a last resort, I'll see how I get on :D
Munday
Firefox is included with Ubuntu.
I am having difficulty with Outlook 2007 but there are other clients to read your mail with if you are not loyal.
Not tried Photoshop (there is alternative applications to try)
I would...
I've used it before and wasn't not happy with the way it left files once you got back on a win machine, although I assume it is a newer version now, I'll compare once I get it all running I guess.
a bit further along now.
I think I have a plan of attack for the flash button so that should get sorted this evening.
Found remote desktop connection and got into work so that is sorted!
Couldn't get office 2007 working so I'll try some older versions. I only really want word and excel tbh.
My...
I've got about 10 networks, I recognise about 4 from Vista(!)
I had a little issue with sound only coming out the headphones but that was easily googled.
Here are the remaining things I am finding:
Flash on websites come up with a big play button, once I press it, it is pot luck if they work...
Strange conclusion to this...
My old man bought one of these because he is paranoid about his wireless signal strength(!)
But it is now being used as a wireless dongle for my sisters xbox (sheesh I live in a house full of geeks) So I tried turning it off anyway, and also sitting next to the...
My old man bought a signal booster thing (I think it is just some kind of switch with wifi access) that doesn't come up in the network list either - I might just try switching it off and seeing what happens. Only difference I can think of without going through the router settings.
it is just...
I was thinking the same, but no the SSID is not hidden - it shows up on the computers so it is working correctly there. I also tried to add a hidden network which also didn't work. That sort of led me to driver update as a next step.
Help!
Decided to give it a go, stuck a live CD and it seemed to work so installed it.
The only problem so far is that it seems to be able to detect every wireless network going except mine(!) It can even pick up networks from my neighbours that vista can't(!!!)
I found this link which directly...
my old man is going to look at a clio lux tonight, for some reason it's got 4k off down to £14k... delivery miles only... I guess they are shifting stock before the 200 comes out...go pester you dealer?
well as your table gets bigger you will need the counta to count more rows or it will go back to overwriting half way down itself.. the best way is to get the macro to do it for you
iain :rasp:
ps i doubt that =counta() formula will change after you press the button. So what will happen is if you have 10 rows to start, the counta will say 10 even after inserting an extra 5 (e.g.) to the bottom.
therefore your macro will insert new rows at row 11!
so you have two...
ok i think I am with you now.
I'm not to hot on macros but I know what you have to do (haha)
put a cell at the top of your table and do =COUNTA(range)
this will give you a reference of how many rows your table currently takes up that you can use in your macro.
then edit your macro to insert...
out of the 'next lot' does the macro pick up which is the right data to move?
is it just putting it in the wrong place when you tell it to add to the spreadsheet?
in my version it isn't there, but im sure in some old version of firefox there used to be 'block all images from this host' on the right click menu. must have done it by mistake.
you could add an extra column where you write 'yes' if the row meets your criteria
then you could use conditional formatting to highlight the row if the cell = yes
and finally use a count function to count the amount of yes'es (sp!)
i dont like macro's when they can be avoided.
had a few more thoughts about this -
the engine is still running although it sounds like a crap diesel.
So if we are planning to change the engine... it can't hurt to give it an oil and filter change - and even run some cleaning fluid to try and flush out the disintegrated crap?
I'm thinking...
Someone I know has had the car diagnosed with a disintegrated oil filter and that it will require a new engine.
It's a Y reg but it has been regularly serviced (by a mechanic friend not at a garage though)
Is it worth a 2nd opinion? Is it likely that this is possible and that a new engine will...
