I just got poly arb bushes from Obsessive Detail who are trader on here, I think they are still running a discount, could also get steering rack one from them
I think we have a specific number of radios licensed on a set of frequencies.
We used to use the GP300's that were analogue- brilliant almost un breakable, pretty decent range with a good battery on the higher frequencies. But they all were really old some over 15 years old and just getting past...
We use Motorola's at work but they have to be licensed and range is rubbish. But they are pretty indestructible as long as you don't submerse them in water
Mine has had new wishbones, pro line eibach springs. Poly bushed rack, replaced the top mounts. It's in the next week to swap the shocks for genuine cup ones, poly Arb bushes, camber bolts
Solved, air leak between upper and lower manifolds. Caused by some MAD dress up bolts. They are too long even with washers so when you tighten then up they press on lower manifold
Only thing I have done is jack the car up to fit a back box. Started car while still of the ground to check exhaust seal - all fine.
Got it back on the ground and started it, idle really high and hunting about
I thought they might do a deal to get it off the shelf. I doubt many 172's are worth double the cost of the exhaust. To be honest I found them a bit arsey. How many people could justify best part of 800 quid on an exhaust for a Clio, especially bearing in mind this is not some special titanium...
